ffk environment provides a comprehensive range of waste disposal and secondary raw material production services in the business areas of logistics & disposal, raw material production and raw material trade. The family company was founded in 1992 as a waste logistics company with headquarters in Peitz near Cottbus in Germany. It now employes more than 116 members of staff.

Our core business is manufacturing environmentally friendly solid recovered fuels out of waste. We offer companies such as cement manufacturers and energy providers an environmentally friendly alternative to replace lignite and biuminous coal and so produce less CO2. ffk is one of Germany's leading manufacturers in this sector and is now the largest SRF exporter to Poland. Alongside Germany and Poland, we also see considerable opportunity for growth in Eastern Europe, especially in Romania and the Ukraine.

ffk obtains the input material required to produce solid recovered fuels by preparing commercial, municipal and private waste. Using the latest technical equipment and logistics structures, ffk environment, which has locations in Peitz, Jänschwalde and Berlin, is a highly efficient disposal company. The recyclable materials are systematically separated and cleaned by mechanical and manual methods during waste preparation. Metals, paper and plastics are sold all over the world in the raw material trade business area. The remaining materials are processed further into solid recovered fuels in the raw material production business area.
